Counselling and therapy in Frimley and Camberley GU15.
People come to counselling for a number of reasons; some may wish to explore feelings of anxiety, low-mood, depression, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem, whilst others may wish to better understand themselves and why they think, feel and behave as they do. Past experiences, current events or simply day-to-day living may also present a challenge and lead to a sense of unhappiness or unease.
To help you decide if the counselling I provide is right for you, I will briefly outline what I offer. As an integrative counsellor I favour the person-centred approach, which means that our sessions are client-led in an environment that encourages empathy, genuineness and unconditional positive regard.
At my dedicated room in Frimley, Camberley, I, as a counsellor, offer a way to address a wide range of problems and issues. Many clients find they only need brief counselling sessions to make significant positive changes in their lives. I am also happy to work on a more supportive, long term and open ended basis, which suits some people better. I aim to help you explore any problems or issues as quickly as is suitable for you and not to keep you coming back for more sessions than you need or want.
Being an integrative counsellor, I seek to understand your difficulties from your point of view, at your pace, and where together we can consider ways to help you through your current difficulties. I offer a safe and confidential space to do this. As a counsellor, I aim to understand you, to listen to you without judgment, to help you find a way forward with whatever problem or situation is causing you concern or suffering. Working with me can help you find a way through, and can help you to find new perspective and explore new ways of feeling and thinking.
I work from a dedicated counselling room within easy reach of;
